The race to produce ever thinner displays seems to us a bit sterile. At the end of the day, not much difference between the space occupied by a team of two to four inches thick and one centimeter when the base is the same. In any case, manufacturers love this record breaking physical. The latest brand has beaten about the LG with LG E90, a screen with just 7.2 millimeters thick.
The LG E90 is so fine that actually has all the connections at the base, designed with an ultra-bright metallic finish. Connections include D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. As for the panel, this is a TN LCD with LED-backlit 21.5-inch diagonal Resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels. The response time is 2 milliseconds and the dynamic contrast 10,000,000:1 reach. Its estimated price will be 329 euros.
That is all that is known by now. The LG E90 will be available this month in some markets including not clear whether it will be Spanish. The Korean will take the E90 at CES so we can see further.
